 Over
the years, Violinist Gordon Marron has recorded music for over 350 films and countless
CDs with artists such as Barbara Streisand, Natalie Cole, Michael Jackson, Joni
Mitchel, Madonna and many other well known performers.
Having
spent most of his life as a studio musician in Los Angeles, California, Gordon
visited Kauai many times in the 1980's and like many accomplished artists from
the West Coast he decided to make The Garden Isle his permanent home.
Having discovered a large pool of excellent musicians on Kauai, he founded  Kauai
Musical Arts in 1996. Today, the organization is Kauai's premier musical talent
agency providing world class entertainment for Kauai weddings and upscale social
events.
Gordon in addition to the violin has also played the piano and
keyboards and has composed and arranged music on many high profile projects. He
has also appeared with the L.A. Philharmonic with Pierre Boulez and has appeared
as Concertmaster of The Maui Symphony several times during the 1999-2000 season.
